The WinRiver II software is used for recording and analysing of velocity and flow measurements using mobile ADCP systems. The configuration of the measurement system is done via "Measurement Wizard". In addition to measuring-point-specific settings, different modes can be selected to adapt the measuring instrument to different water conditions.

The playback function provides the ability to customise settings after the measurement and evaluate the measurement again. To facilitate the evaluation, a number of tables and graphs are available. The configuration of the ADCP measuring systems and the visualisation of the measured values ​​in real-time is executed via a wireless  Bluetooth connection (optional) or via an RS232 interface cable.
